Hepatitis C is a viral infection that can be transmitted through
sexual contact.
Hepatitis C Symptoms include a short, mild, flu-like illness, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss, jaundice (yellowing of skin and whites of eyes, darker yellow urine and pale feces), itchy skin, and abdominal pain. Hepatitis B and C affect the liver and can severely damage it.
Hepatitis C treatment is available, but current drug therapies may have serious side effects.
